Viral Video: Reactions as Gov Adeleke seemingly shuns Ooni

Social media users have taken to their various accounts to react to an action between the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and the governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke at a recent event in Ondo State.

According to a viral video going around the Nigerian digital space, the governor entered the venue of the event and walked towards a table where the monarch and others were seated.

In a snippet of the viral video, the king stretched out his hand for a shake but Adeleke looked away and shook hands with another traditional ruler before going back to the Ooni for a handshake.

The footage has sparked a debate online while some Nigerians claim Adeleke snubbed the Ooni, others said the governor went back to greet the king properly.
