The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has postponed the unveiling and inauguration of its national campaign council from October 20 to October 26.

In a statement on Monday in Abuja, the party’s national publicity secretary, Osa Director, attributed the postponement to the tight schedule of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who has an important overseas engagement.

Director apologised for any inconvenience caused and urged party members and supporters to remain focused on their electoral objectives ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to securing victory for Mr Obi and its other candidates.
