Tinubu Tests Positive For COVID-19?
The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has not tested positive for COVID-19 as claimed, says his spokesperson Tunde Rahman.
TopNewsNaija reports that a news platform, on Sunday, January 3, claimed that Tinubu tested positive for COVid-19 in France before the new year.
However, Rahman, in a statement dismissed the report, describing it as “a lie from the pit of hell.”
Rahman said Tinubu had conducted the COVID-19 test 15 times and is currently not sick.
“Asiwaju is very okay. He is very fine and not sick. He does not have COVID-19. If you must know, we have done COVID-19 test 15 times, each time he felt we had travelled and mingled with many people and could be vulnerable even though he always wore his face mask, but he has been certified negative 15 times,” he said.
The spokesperson also confirmed that his principal is currently not in Nigeria.
“Yes he is abroad. Not in France, but in London resting. So you can see the falsity in that information,” the statement added.
