Burna Boy joins Nollywood – Daily Trust

Nigerian musician Burna Boy is set to make his appearance in Nollywood as an executive producer.

The African Giant is said to collaborate with Ifind, Alma Productions, Asurf Films, Martian Network, and Black Mic Mac to co-produce the forthcoming thriller “3 Cold Dishes.” 

The narrative centers on Esosa, Fatouma, and Giselle, three former victims of sex trafficking who have risen to prominence in the underground realm of prostitution. Despite their achievements, their past traumas linger, haunted by the men who subjected them to slavery and now seek retribution. 

Directed by Asurf Oluseyi, the film portrays the resilience and fortitude of its protagonists, offering a unique African cinematic experience. 

Nollywood actors such as Osas Ighodaro, Wale Ojo, Femi Jacobs, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards and Greg Ojefua feature prominently, alongside talented Ivorian and Senegalese actors Fat Toure, Maud Guerard, Amelie Mbaye and Mentor Ba.
