Biafra News: Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Accused FG Of “Sinister Plot Against Ndigbo”
Nnamdi Kanu’s special attorney, Aloy Ejimakor, has alleged that the Federal Government has “a sinister plot against Ndigbo” in order to keep him imprisoned. Ejimakor is representing Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Ejimakor said that there was a covert plan to push “Ndigbo between a rock and a hard place” as Nigeria prepares for the election in 2023 in a message he posted on his Twitter page on Monday.
He tweeted, “It’s becoming self-evident that the refusal to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is part of a sinister plot against Ndigbo. The hidden agenda is to put Ndigbo between a rock & a hard place as Nigeria farcically careens into the 2023 elections. The good news is that it will boomerang. Yes!”

Topnewsnaija reported that, on Thursday, October 13, 2022, the Court of Appeal in Abuja released Kanu, deeming his kidnapping from Kenya to Nigeria illegal and unconstitutional, and vacated all of the Federal Government’s terrorism-related accusations against him.
The Federal Government’s forced rendition of Kanu to Nigeria, according to the appellate court, violated all national and international laws, rendering the terrorism allegations against him inadmissible and illegal.
In a ruling by Justice Oludotun Adebola, the court nullified and overturned the Federal Government’s allegations against Kanu and then released him from the charges.
In the meantime, the Federal Government quickly responded to Kanu’s discharge by stating through Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, that Kanu was only dismissed.
