Serena Williams baptized as Jehovah’s Witness (PHOTOS)
Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, experienced a significant milestone on Sunday when she was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness.
The Jehovah’s Witness Assembly in West Palm Beach, Florida, is where the baptism took place.
Serena, who announced her departure from the court in September of last year, has previously stated her desire to put her family and faith first after giving up the game.

She is renowned for her exceptional performance over the course of a career spanning more than two decades, earning 23 grand slam titles, the second-most of all time and the most of any player during the open era.
“Being a Jehovah’s Witness is important to me, but I’ve never really practiced it and have been wanting to get into it.” – Serena had said in an interview with Vogue.
