NWFL Playoff: Rivers Angels vow to maintain positive start

Rivers Angels have vowed to maintain their impressive start to the Nigeria Women Football League Super Six playoff tournament.

The Port Harcourt-based side have recorded one win and a draw in the two matches played at the tournament.

Rivers Angels are top of the playoff table with four points.

“We keep fighting till we achieve our dream,” Rivers Angels stated on their X handle.

“It was a sweet victory against our noisy neighbours Edo Queens FC on Monday.

“Three more matches to go, Let’s Go Angels.”

Rivers Angels will face Nasarawa Amazons in their next match on Wednesday (today).
