Bendel Insurance shift attention to NPFL after Federation Cup outster

Bendel Insurance have shifted attention to the Nigeria Premier Football League following their ouster from the President Federation Cup.

The Benin Arsenals were knocked out of the President Federation Cup by Nigeria National League club Wikki Tourist.

Bendel Insurance suffered a shocking 2-0 loss against the Bauchi Elephant in the Round 32 match at the Area 3 stadium, Abuja on Wednesday.

Owolabi Aremu and Promise Damala scored for Wikki Tourist in the game.

“Defending champions gallantly bowed out of the 2024 President Federation Cup,” Bendel Insurance wrote on their X handle.

“It wasn’t our day at the Area3 in Abuja. Our focus now on NPFLMD33 clash against Sunshine Stars.”

Bendel Insurance will battle with Sunshine Stars when the NPFL resume this weekend.
