Kebbi gov signs bill for creation of disability commission

Governor Nasir Idris has assented to the bill for the establishment of the Kebbi State Commission for Persons Living with Disability.

While assenting the bill, Governor Nasiru said Kebbi State created the commission to protect the rights and privileges of people living with disability and to give them a sense of belonging like other persons in the society.

The Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Usman Ankwe presented the bill to the governor for his assent after its ratification by the assembly at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi.
