JUST IN: Tobi Amusan loses World Title, places 6th in 100m hurdle

Tobi Amusan lost her world women’s 100m hurdles title to Jamaica’s Danielle Williams.

The Nigerian athlete, who had a smooth ride to the finals of the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

She missed out on the chance of becoming the fourth woman after USA’s  Gail Devers and Michelle Perry, and Australian Sally Pearson, claimed at least two gold medals in the competition.

Amusan and 2019 winner Nia Ali were never in the hunt, finishing sixth and last respectively.
