It was gathered that the suspect was arrested at Auchi, the administrative headquarters of Etsako West local government of Edo State.

The 28-year-old father allegedly took the four-year-old daughter to a hotel, removed her clothes, took her picture and uploaded it on his Instagram handle, @officialsarah_ig, where it raised controversy.

While emphasizing the importance of implementing support systems for parents and guardians to protect the safety and well-being of their children, he advised caregivers to also prioritize the security of minors and seek assistance or guidance when required.

“The Nigeria Police Force remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding children and upholding the law,” he said.
