Abiodun, Oyetola’s wife congratulate Aisha Buhari at 50

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and wife of Osun State Governor, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola, on Tuesday sent congratulatory messages to wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, on her 50th birthday celebration.
Abiodun said the President’s wife, who clocks 50 today, has been a supportive and reliable pillar of strength to President Muhamnadu Buhari and the entire family.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kunle Somorin, the governor described the First Lady as a “strong woman of conviction and strong pillar of support” for the President.
He praised her for being “an intelligent person who keeps the home front comfortable for our President to govern with integrity and without distractions”.
Abiodun prayed Almighty God to keep the President’s wife in good health to continue the good work she’s doing as pillar of the First Family and in the country.

In a statement, Mrs. Oyetola said as women’s rights activist and girl-child education advocate, Mrs. Buhari always lent her voice to the voiceless and the under-privileged women and girls in the society.
She added: “Over the years, you have put the welfare of Nigerian children and women at the fore.
“Being a staunch critic of child marriage and violence against women, you are a role model to many women across the world.
“Your Excellency, your passion for women empowerment and dedication to improving the well-being and lives of women and children through your advocacy and programmes across the country are enviable and worth celebrating.”
