DJ Cuppy “Gelato” f Zlatan

The video of the vacation trended hugely on social media and the name “Gelato” became a very popular name amongst Nigerian music fans. DJ Cuppy then decided to key into this rave by turning the slang to an actual song that features Zlatan Ibile. DJ Cuppy teased us with this song for a lot of days and even weeks on social media, setting the ground for a receptive reaction for the song and making sure it was very well anticipated before its release. And she achieved exactly just that as her dream of getting it well accepted came through.

The song dropped in August and since the name was already big before the release of the song, it never became difficult for the song to trend. The Zanku inspired song since its release has been everywhere, getting huge airplay on radio and social events. Music fans are hoping to get a video were blessed with an iconic one and it helped shoot further its popularity.

The visuals inspired by Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine highly captivating  “Fefe” sees the singers in a colorful video with the former’s exact same concept. Cuppy and Zlatan replaced Nicki and Tekashi’s huge rainbow lollipop to that of the famous “Gelato”. Nigerians absolutely loved the track and its video.
