Kano Museum Worker Stabbed To Death, Dispossessed Of Phone

A 50-year-olf staff of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments, Kano State, Umar Muhammad, was stabbed to death by hoodlums.

The victim was said to have been attacked by phone snatchers, on his way home, near Kantin Kwari Textile in Kano.

According to an eyewitness, one of the hoodlums stabbed Umar in the neck, which made him slump, and was left in the pool of his blood.

Some good Samaritan notified the police at a nearby police station who rushed the victim to the Abdullah Wuse Specialist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It was learned that Umar’s family members had declared him missing and marshalled a search party that traced him to the hospital mortuary.
