Rapper CDQ calls out Headies organizers for awarding Mayorkun ‘Best Street Hop Artist’ instead of Naira Marley

Popular Nigerian rapper CDQ Olowo has taken to social media to call out organizers of the 14th edition of the Headies Award.

In a post shared on Twitter, the rapper said it evident that the awards are now being politized.

He questioned why the category for the best street hip was given to Mayorkun instead of Naira Marley.

CDQ wrote: Headies una don start dis una obvious industry politics tins again… How d hell una go carry Best Street Hop give someone else at the expense of Naira dis yr Face with raised eyebrow and conscience no judge una Man facepalming hmmm…

Many Nigerians who reacted to the post shared the same opinion with cdq as they express their disappointment.
