Kunle Afolayan, Dele Momodu mourn veteran actor, Sadiq Daba
Award-winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan has taken to his Instagram to mourn veteran actor, Sadiq Daba.
According to the father of four, in a short tribute to the late actor revealed he will be missed.
Recall, Veteran actor, Sadiq Daba died Wednesday evening after a long and excruciating battle with leukaemia and prostate cancer.
The late veteran actor and broadcaster, Sadiq Daba joined Nollywood and became even more famous for his role in Kunle Afolayan’s ‘October 1st’ movie. For his Inspector Waziri role in the movie, he won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor.
Paying the tribute, the filmmaker wrote;

You made your mark.

Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu also via his Twitter handle paid his respect to the actor, said Daba fought a “gallant battle.”
“My very dear Brother, you fought a gallant battle. Good night and rest in peace. Veteran Actor, Sadiq Daba is Dead,” Momodu tweeted.
