‘It’s not my job to force an adult to be responsible’ – Singer 9ice’s babymama, Toni Payne, opens up on challenges of single parenting

Toni Payne, the babymama of Nigerian singer, Abolore Adigun popular known as 9ice, has opened up on single parenting challenges.

In a lengthy post shared on her Instagram story, Toni Payne revealed she has been solely responsible for her son’s upbringing regarding bills payment.

According to Toni Payne, she would not force her baby daddy to take up any responsible; instead, she will raise her child independently.

She also listed some of the things she had put in place for her child, adding that God will see her through in areas she has no idea about.

Single parenthood is what you make of it. I choose to make it fun and positive. For me, I don’t look for anybody that does not want to be found. I don’t stress anyone that doesn’t want to be concerned. I’ll always choice peace of mind over forcing a camel to drink water. It’s not my job to force an adult to be responsible. I put that energy instead, into focusing on raising a good and happy human.

My baby boo is a happy child and to me that’s what’s important. I’m beyond blessed to be able to give my son a good life and the chance to create happy childhood memories. He gets good education, the best health care, awesome family and friends, good grades, good character, a fat bank account for University and is well travelled and he knows his mommy would never let him down.

The ones I don’t know, God will surely see me through. I’m looking at US and we are doing great, so I’m feeling especially happy and blessed this beautiful Sunday morning and reflecting out loud. So so so grateful to the most high for favoring us.
