Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo has assured air passengers and other stakeholders in the aviation industry of the safety of the airspace.

In his New Year message to stakeholders through his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, Keyamo promised strict adherence to the standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

Daily Trust reports that the outgone 2023 was described as a year of disruption for the industry with the massive and sweeping changes in all agencies in the Ministry even as the federal government failed to deliver the promised national carrier.

Keyamo had on assumption of office suspended the national carrier project as well as airport concession, which were signature projects of the immediate past administration of President Muhammadu Buhari when Senator Hadi Sirika held sway as minister.
