WAFU U-17: Ochigbo named Player of the Match in Golden Eaglets’ win over Togo

Edward Ochigbo was named Player of the Match following the Golden Eaglets’ victory over Togo on Thursday.

The holders thrashed the Togolese 3-0 to earn a berth in the semi-final.

Abdulmuiz Adeleke bagged a brace, with Rapha Adams netting the other goal.

Ochigbo, who came in as a second-half substitute, delivered a commanding performance following his introduction.

Captain Simon Cletus won the Player of the Match award in Golden Eaglets’ previous two games against Burkina Faso and the Republic of Niger.

The Golden Eaglets will face Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-final of the WAFU B U-17 Championship on Saturday.
