NPFL: Abia Warriors coach sure of victory against Rivers United

Abia Warriors assistant coach, Igwe Madubuike, is optimistic of victory in their rescheduled clash against Rivers United.

Madubuike believed that the intense preparation of his team will pay dividends in the game.

Abia Warriors will host Rivers United at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday.

“We should expect the same result (home win) from the lads,” Madubuike told the club’s media.

“I know we have prepared them, and we have told them what to do, and we expect it to yield positive result.”

Abia Warriors were held to a goalless draw in the same fixture last season.
