NNL Playoff: Inter Lagos coach targets promotion to NPFL

Inter Lagos FC coach, Victor Okwologu, has expressed confidence that the club will secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Inter will compete with seven other clubs at the Nigeria National League Super Eight tournament in Enugu next month.

The tournament will run from June 7th-14th, 2024.

Okwologu said the team is ready for the task ahead

“We are fully prepared and confident in our abilities. The club will be ready for the challenge,” he said ahead of the competition.

“Inter Lagos is aiming to play at the highest level. Our goal is clear: we want to compete in the NPFL and make our mark.

“We have worked hard all season, and our focus and ambition remain unwavering. This is a significant opportunity for us, and we intend to seize it.”

Inter Lagos will face Ikorodu City in their first game in the competition.
