Ilechukwu excited as Rangers silence boastful Plateau United

Rangers technical adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed satisfaction with the team’s 2-0 win over Plateau United.

Okorie Chidozie and veteran forward Godwin Obaje were on target for the Flying Antelope in the game.

Ilechukwu believed that his team’s adequate preparation was responsible for the victory.

“I think it was a great one for us,” Ilechukwu reacted in a post-match interview.

“I am pleased about the outcome of this game because it was a game we prepared very well knowing that we had struggled in our last two away games.

“We bounced back to give our fans something to cheer against my former team who had boasted too much about this match even before it was played. I thank God for the three points.”

Rangers maintained their position at the top of the table with 57 points.
