FIFA Best Player Award: Ronaldo Out As Messi, Mbappe Make List (Full List)
The candidates for the Best FIFA Football Awards 2022 were announced by the International Association Football Federation (FIFA) on Thursday.
The list of candidates for Best Men’s Player includes Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona, World Cup winner Lionel Messi of Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina, as well as Messi’s teammates Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr.
Lewandowski and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who has two honors and shares the record for winning FIFA’s Best Men’s Player twice, are not included on the list.
