EPL: Erik ten Hag to Remain Man Utd Manager After Season Review

Manchester United has decided to retain Erik ten Hag as their manager following the conclusion of the club’s 2023/24 season review, as reported by The Athletic.

In addition to confirming Ten Hag’s continuation, negotiations for a contract extension with the Dutch manager have commenced. His current contract is set to expire at the end of next season, with an option for the club to extend it by an additional 12 months.

Despite a disappointing league campaign where United finished in eighth place, the team managed to secure a significant victory by defeating Manchester City 2-1 to win the FA Cup. This triumph marked Ten Hag’s second trophy with the club in as many years.

Speculation had linked several high-profile managers, including Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, Thomas Frank, Kieran McKenna, and Gareth Southgate, with the position at Old Trafford. However, Manchester United has now committed to continuing with Ten Hag at the helm.
