Yabatech Rector felicitates with workers, urges staff to uphold college’s vision
Rector of Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Ibraheem Abdul, has felicitated with members of staff on the occasion of the Workers’ Day, advising them to continue to “uphold the core values, vision and mission of the college and present administration’s strategic plan of consolidating on the past and shaping its future.”
In his workers day message, Rector of the 77-year old polytechnic lauded the support of the members of staff since he assumed office.
He said, “It is my joy to felicitate and rejoice with the entire work force of the first tertiary institution in Nigeria, Yaba College of Technology, on the auspicious 2024 Workers’ Day Celebration.
“It is no doubt that since my assumption as the seventh (7) indigenous Rector, I have enjoyed your full support in the running of this seventy-seven-year-old (77) college with exemplary management team.
“Without mincing words, your cooperation has enabled this administration record monumental developmental achievements in academic, infrastructure, training and excellent administration to the satisfaction of the federal government.
“As we celebrate, I enjoined us all to uphold the core values, vision and mission of the college and present administration’s strategic plan of consolidating on the past and shaping its future.
“Let us reflect on our attitude to the system and show positivity that would enable us get to the goals.”
