Varsity to honour monarch
Onikogbo of Ikogbo land in Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government of Ogun State, Oba Nurudeen Oluwadare Osoja, a first-class monarch, has been shortlisted among notable Nigerians to be given honourary doctoral degrees by the European-American University (EAU), Commonwealth of Dominica, on June 19, at the Lagos State Chamber of Commerce.
He is to be honoured with D.sc in Engineering and Project Management, in view of his outstanding achievements and contributions to the society.
The international institution has over the years found it necessary to be inspiring and motivating personalities worldwide, especially Nigerians who have become beacons of hope for a better tomorrow.
The award is to celebrate and publicly acknowledge men and women who have become the pride of people in academics, political, engineering, business, administration, religious and humanitarian services as well as encourage the younger generation on the path to true leadership and prosperity.
