Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha on Sunday accused Governor Hope Uzodimma of claiming and commissioning completed projects.

The Senator representing Imo West said most of the projects were completed during his administration between May 29, 2011, and May 28, 2019.

But, Uzodimma said the former governor was battling with his conscience.

Okorocha said it was wrong for Uzodimma to claim that he initiated projects that were the ideas of his predecessors.

The Senator, in a statement by his spokesman, Sam Onwuemeodo, said: “It is not only embarrassing to the governor and his government and indeed, to the people of the state, but worrisome for the ‘Camphope’ government to be claiming or taking credit for projects done by any of the governors before him, especially by Okorocha. lt doesn’t speak well of the government.

“The governor and his media handlers should know the difference between constructing roads and rehabilitating roads or filling potholes on existing roads.”
