Gombe gov calls for full implementation of NEDC master plan
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has called for the full implementation of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) master pla to accelerate the development of the sub-region
He stated this when he hosted the newly appointed board and management of the commission, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Gombe.
Governor Yahaya noted that with the level of investment and commitment made by the NEDC in the area of infrastructural development, agriculture, education and healthcare as well as the provision of palliative for the poor and vulnerable groups, the dream behind establishment of the commission is on course.

Earlier, Chairman of the NEDC Board, Major General Paul Tarfa (Rtd), pledged to work tirelessly to improve the lives of people of the North East region.
In a related development, the Emir of Bauchi, Dr Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu has called on the Governing Board and the management of North East Development Commission to implement policies and programmes that will stabilise socio-economic wellbeing of the people of the Northeast subregion and the nation at large.
