‘Face governance’ – Ohanaeze youths tell Zamfara governor

The youth wing of apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has told Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal ,to focus on governing the state.

The group spoke in reaction to the war of words between the governor and his immediate past predecessor and now Defence Minister, Bello Mohammed Matawalle.

National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, in a statement issued on Saturday said: “We advise the governor to throw-in the towel if he lacks the capacity to provide the much needed leadership and development in Zamfara State.

“He should stop distracting the Defence Minister who has made tremendous achievement in reducing the vandalization of government properties, the attacks to innocent Nigerians by unknown gunmen in the south east and allow him to concentrate in rendering services to the nation.

“Should he continue to tow this line, we shall not hesitate to expose his dossiers to the public.”
