Embrace peace, Kanu, Igboho’s supporters urged
The International Commandant General of United Nigerian Chaplaincy Corps (UNC Corps), Jidejisos Josiah Ejie, has called on the supporters of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, to embrace peace.
Speaking yesterday in Abuja at the Corps’ 2024 peace conference, Ejie also urged the federal government to expedite action on the passage of the UNC Corps’ Bill.
“We are gathered here today from various tribes and religions to speak and propagate peace with one united voice to strengthen the move that started 22nd January, 2011.
“On our peace mission, on behalf of the Corps, I am appealing to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra agitators more so Sunday Igboho, and Arewa group among others, to embrace peace as we remain one. One people, one nation
