BREAKING: Ekweremadu’s Wife Freed from UK Prison, Returns to Nigeria

Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of the former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria after being freed from a United Kingdom prison.

A reliable source confirmed her return to the country on Tuesday, a development that has since been celebrated across Enugu State.

Mrs. Ekweremadu, alongside her husband and one Dr. Obinna Obeta, was sentenced by a UK court for involvement in organ harvesting. Senator Ike Ekweremadu received a 10-year sentence, while Mrs. Ekweremadu was sentenced to six years.

The news of her release has sparked prayers and hopes among their supporters for the senator’s swift return to Nigeria.
