Police Officer Allegedly Kills Man Over Money in Kebbi

One Ahmed Ibrahim has been reportedly killed by a police officer over an alleged disagreement on money-related issues.

A brother of the deceased, Malam Jabir, made this known in a post on his official X handle on Thursday morning.

He said the unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday in the Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

Posting a photo of the deceased, Mr Jabir wrote, “This is Ahmed Ibrahim. He’s my blood brother. He was killed by a police officer yesterday in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State as a result of a minor disagreement (money-related issues). The boy was very hardworking and respectful. He was a real hustler, always striving to improve his life, but he was killed by a police officer.”

However, he Kebbi State Police Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Abubakar, simply said, “Let me make inquiries and get back to you.”
