What Nigerian Celebrities Are saying About Omah Lay, Tems’ Arrest In Uganda
Some Nigerian celebrities have weighed in on the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems who were arrested in Uganda some days ago.
TopNewsNaija reports that Omah Lay was arrested alongside Tems, and his associates on Sunday, December 13, over his involvement in an unauthorised concert that held a night before in the Ddungu Resort in Munyonyo, Kampala City.
The singers were on Monday charged to court for disregarding the COVID-19 orders put in place by the Ugandan government to contain the spread of the disease.
Since the news broke in the social media community, there have been controversies, with many Nigerians including celebrities calling for their release.
Some of the celebrities who reacted are Burna boy, Davido, Rema, Mr Macaroni, Wizkid.
