Niger border axis with Kwara-Jebba state now cleared of blockage

[ad_1]

The Coordinator of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Kwara State, Aliyu Mohammed, has revealed that free flow of goods has now been returned to the South West through Kwara State through the previously blocked Jebba and Niger border axis.

Aliyu said this while speaking to newsmen on Friday, stating that the blockage of food was relaxed by the association with the belief that the South would stop persecuting Fulani’s in its region.

According to him, the blockage of food to the South was a means deployed by the North to send a subtle warning to other parts of Nigeria to stop the harassment and intimidation of the Fulanis.

The coordinator of Kwara State Association of Miyetti Allah said the sooner or later, the truth about those disguising themselves as Fulanis and engaging in banditry and kidnapping would soon be revealed.

Mohammed further revealed that the association’s main concern is the protection of the main source of livelihood, cattle rearing, and the safety of their members.

He insisted that whoever is found culpable of any criminal offense among their members should be ready to face the law’s full weight.

Mohammed also declared that the association is ready to work with the federal government and law enforcement agencies to clean the state of criminals.

He further insists that the vigilante group was ready to assist the government in identifying fake herders who infiltrate the state to commit atrocities.
