Focus on taking yourselves out of poverty – Juliet Ibrahim attacks homophobes fighting LGBT people in Ghana

[ad_1]

Famous Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim, has slammed people attacking the LGBT group in Ghana.

This comes after some Ghana security forces raided and shut down the office of an LGBTQ rights group in the capital, Accra, the organisation has said, after politicians and religious leaders called for its closure.

The 34-year-old mother via her social media page confronted homophobes insisting they focus more on taking themselves out of poverty before attacking the LGBT community.

In her own words, she wrote;

“Shallow minds!!! If you all ranting gibberish have travelled beyond your houses in Ghana you’ll understand that all of over the world, gays are living freely and under the law, basic human right is granted them. So, when your so-called politicians and family members travel to work and live abroad guess what? They are working and having gays as friends or even their employers. Before your family member send you some chicken change guess who pays them? GAY! You’re all bunch of uneducated people ranting against them because these people have done nothing wrong! Who are you to judge humans? You’re busy quoting the bibble but did you read the part of the bible that speaks against judging others? You cowards and hypocrites will celebrate murderers, rapists bad politicians fake pastors, polygamist and many more but hate on someone because of their sexuality? You all are sinners! So deal with it! Focus on taking yourselves out of poverty first instead of fighting basic human rights If these people from the #lgbt community haven’t harassed anyone or raped anyone why the hell you all planning to rape them? Are you any better than a monster and the devil himself Bunch of sinners calling other sinners! Kwasiasemm.”
