Falz, Joe Abah Pull Out Of FG's Meeting On #EndSARS Protest

Nigerian rapper and lawyer, Falz and Joe Abah, a former director-general, Bureau of Public Service Reforms have insisted on the 5 demands of the youths, as they withdraw themselves from a meeting scheduled to hold to address police brutality in the country.

Falz announced his withdrawal in a tweet, just a few hours before the commencement of the meeting coordinated by the Ministry of Youths and Sport.

The meeting that was to hold virtually at 3 pm had scheduled panelists such as Mohammed Adamu, the inspector- general of police (IGP); Segun Awosanya, human rights activist better known as Segalink, Falz and Joe Abah, a former director-general, Bureau of Public Service Reforms.

Announcing his withdrawal, Falz said he got the wrong information and will never be part of the panel.

“I will not be on this panel. I was given false information. Plus there is no need for all this, please!! The agenda is clear,” Falana said.

Upon Falz’s announcement, Abah also took to his Twitter page to say “Following @falzthebahdguy’s withdrawal from this event & the absence of more youth voices, I will regrettably no longer be moderating this event,” Abah said.

“I was only ever meant to be the moderator. Nothing else. I suggest that the format for the event be changed to hear more youth voices.”
