Burna Boy allegedly charges Rivers state government 100M for his homecoming concert

Nigerian Afrobeat singer Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has caused a stir on social media after a Twitter user revealed a whopping amount of money the singer is charging the Rivers state government for his homecoming.

The Twitter user identified as PHprinx alleged the singer is charging a hundred million Naira plus a private jet for his homecoming.

The tweet reads: Burna boy charging the Rivers state government a 100M appearance fee plus a private jet for his upcoming homecoming concert in port-Harcourt is very valid.

Reacting to the tweet, many social media users said, Burna Boy worth the amount he is requesting, considering how most public office holders had embezzled money from the country.

The River State is set to hold a homecoming for the singer to celebrate Burnaboy for winning the Grammys.

The homecoming event is scheduled to hold on the 27th of March and will feature notable Nigerian singers such as Timaya, Duncan Mighty, Omah Lay, Nissi, and other Port Harcourt artists.
