Bobrisky Responds to Trump’s Gender Policy as a Woman

Nigerian crossdresser and social media personality Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reacted to United States President Donald Trump’s recent executive order affirming the recognition of only two genders—male and female—across all U.S. government policies.

Trump’s directive, announced during his inaugural address, stated, “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female.”

The announcement sparked global debate, with individuals and advocacy groups voicing varied opinions on the policy.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Bobrisky dismissed any concerns about the implications of the policy for her identity, asserting confidence in her transition and self-recognition.

“I don’t have business with Trump. Trump said we have only two genders, right? And I said I am now a woman who has undergone everything. If they ask for evidence, I will show them, simple,” she wrote.

Bobrisky’s statement reflects her longstanding declaration of being a woman, often sparking discussions about gender identity and inclusivity in Nigeria and beyond.

The crossdresser, known for her bold personality and social media presence, continues to challenge traditional narratives around gender and identity, despite societal criticism and controversial policies like Trump’s.
