Breaking: CBN Introduces Unified ATM Card,Banks’ ATM Cards Would Be suspended
The National Domestic Card program will start to be implemented by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, in an effort to completely phase out ATM cards and standardize payments.
Nigerians will start standing in line at their banks for new cards on January 16, 2023.

The new card, according to the CBN, will lower demand for dollars as more banks stop using naira cards for overseas transactions.
