Access Bank offers N17.5m grants to 10 women

Access Bank has offered N17.5 million business grants to 10 winners at the 2023 grand finale of the fifth season of the Access Bank’s womenpreneur pitch-a-ton competition held in Lagos.

The 10 women emerged from a pool of 30 who reached the grand finale. 20 of the women won consolation prizes while 10 others won cash prizes ranging from N500,000 to N5 million.

The overall winner, Emerge Story Lab smiled home with N5m, Food Choice Industry finished second to get N4 million while the third position- Quad K Palm oil received N3 million.

Everyday Ice won N2 million after coming fourth while Mash Baby Catering took the fifth position with a prize of N1million business grant.

The 6th to 10th positions received N500,000 each.

The bank’s Group Head of Women Banking, Mrs. Abiodun Olubitan expressed her satisfaction over the doggedness of the participants to improve on their crafts.

She disclosed that the bank will open room for close to 5000 applicants in the next editions, saying that over 31,000 applications were received during this just concluded edition.
