Despite a disappointing league campaign where United finished in eighth place, the team managed to secure a significant victory by defeating Manchester City 2-1 to win the FA Cup. This triumph marked Ten Hag’s second trophy with the club in as many years.
Speculation had linked several high-profile managers, including Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, Thomas Frank, Kieran McKenna, and Gareth Southgate, with the position at Old Trafford. However, Manchester United has now committed to continuing with Ten Hag at the helm.
