Deputy Commissioner of Police Dies at Force Headquarters

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abubakar Mohammed Guri, the DC in the office of COMPOL MOPOL at Force Headquarters in Abuja, collapsed and died on Monday, June 3rd.

Sources report that DCP Guri, who appeared healthy and was in uniform, slumped in his office chair. He was immediately taken to the clinic within the Police Headquarters, where he was pronounced dead.

Although no official cause of death has been provided, a confidential source suggested that heart failure might be the reason, citing the extreme fatigue police officers often face due to their demanding schedules.

The office of the Force Public Relations Officer has not yet issued any statement regarding DCP Guri’s passing.
