Wike reacts to Son’s death rumour
The Rivers State Government has denied a social media report claiming the state Governor’s son, Nyesom Wike, was killed in the United States.
Chris Finebone, the state’s commissioner for information and communication, denied the rumor in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the rumor, Wike’s kid was murdered because of his father’s apparent involvement in the February 25th presidential election.
In response, Finebone called the rumor “satanic,” saying that the governor’s children were nowhere to be found in the United States.
“This is a big lie by evil people. For the avoidance of doubt, Gov. Nyesom Wike has no son or child in the US. By the special grace of God, the governor’s children are safe and doing well where they are.
